The Big 1-0-0

I have been holding off on posting because this is my 100th blog post.

I was thinking about it so much that I wanted it to be the best post, ever.

Yeah, well, I am over it now.

SO this is it.

Now I can get on with my life!

I sold my first item from my etsy store!

Thank you to the fabulous lady in Huntington Beach, CA :) You really made my day...eerrr week!! I have been dancing around the house all day long. She actually bought something from my old site...unfortunately I am closing that one for this new one cause of the name. This is my new site: http://www.opiebaby.etsy.com/. run lila, run!

Today, Lila went along with me to run errands. I dropped off some toys for a friend in lower SE and then back up to 82nd to drive the long way to Target and Michael's. It was just so nice out and I am really enjoying having a sunroof! At the stores Lila sat in the cart and did so well. She usually does horrible and screams at me. So being the fabulous mommy that I am I promised her that we would go to the park after we were done running errands. I don't know if she really understands promises or not at this age but I didn't want to test that theory! On the way back in the direction of the house we stopped in at Trisha and Riley's house to see if they wanted to join us on a walk to the park. They said yes and we headed out! From their house the park is about 4 blocks away and Lila walked the whole way there. It was a slow and steady process but she did it. We strolled around in the grass and picked dandelions. She had yellow pollen all on her nose from smelling them. I am kicking myself for not having my phone or camera on hand! After a half hour we started to walk back. She got a little cranky and didn't want to go home. I remember my friends and their kids doing this and I thought that I would give it a try:

"OK then, Mommy is leaving...I am going to leave you here all by your self if you don't come with me." I said.

She just looked at me.

"Bye bye Lila. I love you."

"BYE!" She said as she runs the opposite direction from where I was standing. She even waved at me.

UGH!

My plan didn't work.

Now we are home and she is napping.

HOOD CANAL

We couldn't have asked for better weather on our 4th annual trip to the Hood Canal for my mother's birthday. Lila had a blast of course and we too had a fun time.

Unfortunately she slept horribly and so we cut our trip short by one day and left on Saturday night. We had 3 nights and 4 awesome days though! And we came home to promised weather of 80 degrees and all sun!

It can't get any better then this :)

easter fun

Saturday morning we went down to
the Westmoreland Park annual easter egg hunt with Auntie Tracy, Grandma and her cousins. She got a lot of candies!

Hope everyone had a wonderful Easter :)

This was Lila crying hystarically because the bunny was too close for comfort.

And here she is keeping an eye out for the big white bunny...I can imagine her saying "i've got my eye on you bunny"

emergency room easter

Yep, its as bad as it sounds.

Just when we thought Lila was getting better she takes a nasty turn and begins throwing up again. She became very dehydrated so I took her to the urgent care clinic. They told me there to take her to the emergency room at legacy Emmanuel children's hospital. All around town we drove on this wonderful Easter Sunday. They almost hooked her up to an IV! ACK!! But instead they gave her some anti nausea meds and gave her an apple juice water cocktail. We missed our Easter dinner and our family Easter egg hunt but at least we know that Lila is going to be OK. I took some pictures of my sickie while at the hospital.

You know me...I couldn't pass up a picture for the blog!

police station

On Tuesday, for our playgroup, we took a tour of our local police station. The tour guide walked us around the whole station and we even got to see the interrogation room! But the kids didn't have much interest in it besides the police cars. It made for some super sweet pictures though.

Sophia, one of the girls in the group, asked one of the police officers if they pick up naughty people.

oh boy not again...

Last night Mikey and I knew that something was wrong with Lila. She didn't eat dinner, didn't enjoy her bath and she was very clingy and whiny. We thought that she was just really tired. Little did we know, she had a horrible tummy ache. To make a long story short *like my sister would say* she was up all night throwing up. Yuck-O.
I couldn't help it. I had to take a picture with my phone of my little sleeping beauty. She looked so peaceful and comfortable. I am hoping that she is feeling better now though. She has kept dry cereal and water down since 8 this morning.

Keep your fingers crossed.
